Seen a post from a user of SAM Broadcaster who wants to move his current SAMDB MySQL database over to a new machine and appears to be having trouble doing so.

RadioDJ doesn’t have this issue it comes with a tool that enables you to backup your RadioDJ database every day and if you decide to move to a new machine all you would need to do is restore the .SQL backup using the database setup tool.

radiodj databasesetup new

ALL the data in the database tables is backed up as part of the RadioDJ .SQL backup.

You can never have too many backups!

Yes it really is that easy!

The database structure in SAM Broadcaster is badly written & its a pain to try and do any website integration, Even using the PHP templates as a guide.

Dare I say it? Its just another reason RadioDJ is SUPERIOR to SAM Broadcaster Pro as we don’t have any issues backing up or restoring databases with RadioDJ
