Seen a couple of posts recently on social media from radio station owners & DJ’s all stating they couldn’t do their shows.
“I won’t be on air this week I just hope SAM Broadcaster doesn’t fuck up on me again next week”
“No live show tonight we’re off air until further notice we need to repair SAM Broadcaster”
“Kind of nervous for my show tonight hopefully they can solve this SAM Broadcaster problem”
“Won’t be doing my live show tonight SAM Broadcaster won’t co-operate”
“Won’t be broadcasting today sorry SAM Broadcaster is playing up because of an error”
Looking at the Spacial Audio Facebook page and shaking my head in disbelief at the latest posts from frustrated users.
“How am I supposed to build an audience when your servers just drop out for no reason, at the very moment your service department leaves for the weekend?! This happens over and over, and no one had offered a solution or even answered me as to why!
I sincerely regret spending my money on the SAM Cloud product. Can anyone recommend a more reliable service, or at least one who understands that radio stations don’t take the weekend off?”
We knew Spacial Audio support were utterly useless but we didn’t know they were totally CLUELESS as well.
A user having an activation issue with SAM Broadcaster has posted on the SAM Broadcaster forums hoping to get help as support seem to have “gone quiet” in his words.
“I’ve tried tech support but suddenly getting no more replies from them. I changed PC’s a few weeks ago and had to reinstall Sam Broadcaster Pro. After reinstallation, I activated successfully but suddenly started getting the error message: “Product Activation Failed” and “License Warning”.
Spacial support also asked me to uninstall the MySQL server as well as SAM Broadcaster and reinstall them in new directories. I’ve done everything they advised and the problem is still there, very frustrating and stressful, starting to get disillusioned with the program. The worst part is the tech support person just went quiet”
Users shouldn’t be having activation headaches with software especially if they’re about to do a live show on the Internet. God forbid they should actually want to stream a station.
