Sam Broadcaster Bad Audio

Recently searched through Audiorealm and started tuning into a few random radio stations.

Some of them sounded OK & Some of them did not. The reason for the poor audio quality on some of the stations was immediately clear.

They were either using badly ripped audio files or the sound processing in SAM Broadcaster wasn’t configured correctly either way they sounded Awful.

Sam Broadcaster Activation Issues

I visit the Spacial Audio forums and Facebook pages every few days just to see what the latest complaints from users are.

It seems several users have had issues activating SAM Broadcaster & in some cases this has meant the DJ missing their regular radio show.

Activation issues should never happen with radio automation software, A DJ needs the software they are using to do their job.

Of the four different database options that come with SAM Broadcaster, Firebird appears to be the most unstable database of the options you’re given.

Sam Broadcaster Terrestrial Licence

Have you ever read through the EULA (End user licence agreement) when it comes to SAM Broadcaster?

Most people haven’t even bothered to read it.

We can’t help but notice how Spacial Audio Solutions make it difficult to use their software. You’d be pretty amazed/shocked at the restrictions Spacial Audio place on their software.

SAM Broadcaster Bad SQL!

We keep seeing posts on the Spacial Audio Facebook pages and forums from people saying that their queue list table within MySQL has crashed and is corrupted.

This is usually the MySQL error that people get.

“MySQLi prepare error: Table ‘samdb_mysql.queuelist’ doesn’t exist”

This is nothing new and has been a major issue within SAM Broadcaster SQL tables ever since SAM Broadcaster v2.7.9
