Sam Broadcaster 2015.1 (Disappointment?)

Got my hands on a copy of SAM Broadcaster 2015.1 this morning despite Spacial trying to obfuscate the download links.

The changes list reads like this:

Using Winamp To DJ With?

Using Winamp To DJ With?

Just seen a topic pop up on the Winamp forums where someone said they were using Winamp to DJ.

Another user replied with:

“Real DJs don’t use Winamp to DJ it doesn’t crossfade properly”

Indeed DJ’s don’t use Winamp to produce mixes or radio shows. We use other software that is built for the job.

Simply Wonderful (RadioDJ)

I probably don’t praise the developer of RadioDJ enough.

The software has come on leaps and bounds in the last few years. It’s just simply wonderful to have a piece of software that does what it’s supposed to and that automate.

Beware Spacial Audio!

Beware Spacial Audio!

Just been for my daily snoop on the Spacial audio forums and yet again it doesn’t make for good reading.

“I had sent an email to Spacial Audio tech support last week to ask about rolling back to version 4.x.x if for some reason I had a problem with v2014.1 and their reply was: “once (sic) you converted to 2014 you cant rollback to version 4.x.x

This user has already paid for version 4.x.x and is now being told by Spacial Audio support that he cannot use a version of SAM Broadcaster he paid for in the event of him wanting to switch back.

Praise Indeed!

We absolutely love the all of the users of the RadioDJ forums, But I love those who have come from using SAM Broadcaster just that bit more…

Especially when they say stuff like this??

“Having come from the world of SAM, I would just like to take a moment to thank the development team and everyone that provides support, The atmosphere is refreshing, The software is great and getting better. Good job guys”

A friendly and helpful forum and people willing to help each other isn’t something that can be said for certain other software forums. We’ve worked hard to make the RadioDJ forum the place it now is.

The advice and help from other users is what makes the RadioDJ forum the best place to ask for help with issues with the software.

It always helps though if you search the forums, Just your issue may have been resolved before.

If you haven’t made the switch from SAM Broadcaster to RadioDJ yet

Download RadioDJ v2

What are you waiting for? You’ll be a lot happier in the long run,

FACT: RadioDJ is a lot more reliable and stable than programs you pay lots of $$$ or €€€ for, even then those pieces of software won’t always come with support.

One user of RadioDJ v1.8.2 had his copy running for 2 years. We’d call that reliable, Wouldn’t you?
