I’ve been a Winamp user since 1999 and on the whole its been OK until recently.
I was just messing around on Windows 10 just now with a playlist (.m3u) file and wanted to test/play it in Winamp.
I clicked on “Open with Winamp” & Winamp just froze on startup it couldn’t find the soundcard, I had to use task manager to kill the process. I tried again but the soundcard issue was still stopping it from firing up correctly.
As the topic of the post suggests its not just SAM Broadcaster that suffers with stability problems, other Spacial Audio software suffers from the same problem especially SAM DJ (Formerly SAM Party DJ)
Theses searches were recently made on Google and then they landed on this website.
SAM DJ shutting down after 15 minutes on Windows 10. SAM Party DJ crashing on Windows 10 Unable to pick any track SAM Party DJ. Windows 10 drags and skips Spacial Audio SAM Party DJ.
Then there was also this post recently elsewhere on the Internet.
“I bought Sam DJ today and it keeps crashing after about 15 minutes. Can anyone tell me why. I’m on my laptop with Windows 10”
A few users of RadioDJ recently took to the RadioDJ forums to vent their frustrations over their antivirus software claiming there was a Trojan in the program files and that their PC wouldn’t let them download/install it.
We had a similar warning from Windows Defender on Windows 10 about the RadioDJ reports .exe file which we chose to ignore we just added the RadioDJ program folder to the exclusion list.
You need to tell your antivirus program to stop taking over the computer files and folders!
You won’t have these issues if you tell antivirus software to ignore certain folders/files/paths.
