The latest newsletter from Spacial Audio is about people using their products illegally.
Despite the easy access to reliable streaming options, there continues to be an increase in the use of unlicensed or pirated software globally, even in streaming software.
The trade in illegal copies of SAM Broadcaster shows no sign of slowing down either. I see lots of searches on my Google analytics dashboard daily/weekly with people looking for a version of SAM they want to pirate.

I first discovered RadioDJ in November 2010 via Google search because I was fed up with SAM Broadcaster being flaky and unreliable.
As the title of this post would suggest I’ve had to stand strong against a tide of abuse, vitriol and nasty comments this past 12 years all because of my dislike for SAM Broadcaster Pro
I got called names like Noob or Turd on the SAM Broadcaster forums by one of the support volunteers.
Which in turn made me want to stop broadcasting because the abuse made me depressed and anxious.
Those people know who they are and they should be thoroughly ashamed for the way they’ve spoken to me on forums or social media while I’ve been singing RadioDJ’s praises over Sham Broadcaster.
We’ve been accused of using Marketing Gimmicks when it comes to the posts on this website.
We’ve also been accused of making up the posts about the many problems that SAM Broadcaster Pro appears to suffer from…

We keeping seeing more & more users with the same sort of problems with SAM Broadcaster Pro.
Recent searches on Google analytics would suggest that all is not well with the software.

Its 20 years since I first used the Internet way back in 1999.
My first search was for a kids TV program RentaGhost and my first email address was a Yahoo.com one.
I’ve used lots of different computers from Windows 95, Windows 98 to Windows 10 even once tried to use a Mac but I couldn’t get on with them.
I’ve lost count of how many searches I’ve made over the past 20 years to do with audio software, Internetradio and website programming which is another thing I taught myself (and still learning).

Just noticed this Tweet on Twitter and I have to say it didn’t really surprise me TBH!
@spacial Not impressed with your latest SAM Broadcaster Pro update.
Spacial Audio keep releasing the same old tired software with the same old bugs its always had.

Saw a post on social media from someone stating that their copy of SAM Broadcaster has been ‘fixed’? but now they’re back on air they have no listeners returning to their stream.
This has been happening with SAM Broadcaster for 20 years now. Sam Broadcaster seems to go wrong for NO apparent reason.
When SAM Broadcaster goes wrong any listeners you had will move onto another station or streaming media service while you’re off air ‘fixing’ things.
What’s worse is those listeners may never return to your stream and that’s the last thing you need when running an Internet radio station.

As the topic of the post suggests its not just SAM Broadcaster that suffers with stability problems, other Spacial Audio software suffers from the same problem especially SAM DJ (Formerly SAM Party DJ)
Theses searches were recently made on Google and then they landed on this website.
Then there was also this post recently elsewhere on the Internet.
“I bought Sam DJ today and it keeps crashing after about 15 minutes. Can anyone tell me why. I’m on my laptop with Windows 10”
