With the release of RadioDJv2 old plugins from v1.8.2 will now NOT work in v2.0.0
This means the Altacast plugin will also now NOT function with the program.

Installing RadioDJ v2.0.0 the easy way
We know it can be daunting and scary installing radio automation software for the first time.
Especially if you aren’t used to using software that requires a database, but don’t panic it’s not as difficult to setup as you might think.
If you follow these easy steps and have a bit of patience then you should have the program up and running in no time.
1) Starting off with a fresh clean install of your Windows operating system is usually a good bet.
(But not essential)
Don’t forget to backup files/databases/program settings IF you decide to reformat Windows.
Once you’ve reinstalled/cleaned Windows junk files and downloaded & installed all required security patches/updates/drivers for your PC then you can begin the process of installing and configuring RadioDJ.

So RadioDJ v2.0.0 is out… Hurrah!
Its been a long time since v1.8.2 was released and that’s performed like a star ever since
OK so I’ll be honest with you I had a sneak preview of the latest version (Ain’t I a Stinker?) and all I can say my goodness it has some new nifty features.
With this version come features such as User access control, Colour changer, Folder sync tool and a whole plethora of new event features too.
We just hope you enjoy using this new version as much as we’ve enjoyed testing it.
You can download the new version of RadioDJ from the RadioDJ website or by clicking the picture above

Sat here shaking my head because of a post I’ve seen on a Facebook group.
Someone reckons because RadioDJ doesn’t have paid for support packages that its not a professional radio automation system.
There are no messy support contracts with RadioDJ because it doesn’t need them!
You are free to do as you please with the software!

Saw this search term in amongst the terms on Google Analytics recently.
Is this problem really still happening with SAM Broadcaster in this day and age?
I’d love to know which version it is that isn’t working for this person.

I did a post a while back about the restrictions that Spacial Audio place on a Terrestrial station when it comes to using SAM Broadcaster.
Spacial Audio updated their EULA (End User Licence Agreement) on the 10th of April 2017

Spacial Audio are touting for business via email among the users who still use legacy 4.x.x version of SAM Broadcaster.
Just seen a post on the SAM Broadcaster/Spacial forums from a user of the software.
