Sat here shaking my head because of a post I’ve seen on the RadioDJ forums…
“We run a radio station on a university campus. The security team is starting to get really sceptical of RadioDJ, given its history of reported malware (false positive or not). They blocked my ability to download RadioDJ updates”
As the topic of the post suggests its not just SAM Broadcaster that suffers with stability problems, other Spacial Audio software suffers from the same problem especially SAM DJ (Formerly SAM Party DJ)
Some one posted this on Facebook
“I bought Sam DJ today and it keeps crashing after about 15 minutes. Can anyone tell me why. I’m on my laptop with Windows 10”
A few users of RadioDJ recently took to the RadioDJ forums to vent their frustrations over his antivirus software claiming there was a Trojan in the program files and that his PC wouldn’t let them download/install it.
We’ve had a similar warning from Windows Defender on Windows 10 about the RadioDJ reports .exe file which we chose to ignore.
However Marius has said this on the forums.
“I never compromised releases with any malware/adware, but many antivirus programs don’t like to see obfuscated code, so from time to time there are false positives, most of the time reported by some less well ranked antivirus solutions. I can’t do much about them, sadly”
