Using A Stand Alone Encoder With RadioDJ Needn’t Be Difficult

So you’ve discovered and installed RadioDJ congratulations.

Now we bet you’re wondering how you stream the audio from RadioDJ to your Shoutcast or Icecast server.

A stand alone piece of encoding software needn’t be difficult. Once you get it downloaded and installed & sort the settings so it recognises your soundcard that’s the most difficult part done.

A standalone encoder is no more difficult to configure than most of the built in ones.

How To: Enable History In RadioDJ

This is another search term that came through from a user visiting this website.

How do you enable history in RadioDJ. You need to go to Options>Options>Stream Titles

You just need to change the number from 0 to however many days you want your history to be saved for, We have it at 365 days.

RadioDJ Translations (Language Packs)

There are users of RadioDJ free radio automation from all over the world which is a GOOD thing.

There are translations for most languages & you can find the translations for RadioDJ on the forums by clicking the button below.

There’s not much to using them just unzip the folder and then place the folder in the languages folder inside the RadioDJ program folder.

Load RadioDJ and go to options>options and on the first screen that is where you load the required language pack.

Make sure you restart RadioDJ for any changes to take effect and Hey presto RadioDJ should now be in your dialect.

Its another reason to love RadioDJ because most of the translations have been supplied by other users of the software.

If you don’t see your language displayed then its not all that difficult to translate the language packs into your own language.

AFAIK there isn’t much you can do wrong with a language pack… However you Use/Modify at own risk.
