Seen a post from a user of SAM Broadcaster who wants to move his current SAMDB MySQL database over to a new machine and appears to be having trouble doing so.
That’s the problem with SAM Broadcaster while there is a backup feature in the software AFAIK it only backs up program files/settings and NOT the database, You have to use external software or batch files if you want to even attempt to try and backup your MySQL database in SAM.
Been watching a few forums where a woman and her boyfriend have posted asking for help with various stuff to do with the request system in SAM Broadcaster as well as RadioDJ.
They then let slip that they’re using a really old copy of SAM Broadcaster 4.x.x and wants someone to supply them with SAM 3.x.x (Ye Gods!)

So you’ve installed RadioDJ and imported your music and you’re stuck as to what track rotations are let me try and explain a little.
Track Rotations in RadioDJ selects the music only from the categories you tell it to choose from, You can have multiple rotations for different moods, just don’t forget to save the rotation once you’ve created it.
Also make sure when creating a rotation item that the repeat rules boxes are checked so you don’t have any repetition in songs.

As I’m sat here surfing the web and posting on Twitter & I can’t help but notice RadioDJ playing away in the background doing better crossfades between songs than I ever could as a DJ using Vinyl & decks…
OK so Its more Envy than Jealousy I guess, I’m just happy I’ve finally found the most perfect piece of audio software.
“If technology had been this advanced in the 1980s I wouldn’t have a bad back from carrying Vinyl everywhere, it was the curse of being a DJ back in the day”
