Seen a few posts from a user recently claiming he’s been hacked while using one of the RadioDJ website scripts.
He goes on to claim there are also “vulnerabilities” in the script.

A gripe about RadioDJ on a forum recently really did take the biscuit.
“Let’s set the record straight Radio DJ does not even come close to what you can do with SAM Broadcaster Pro let me repeat it again not even close”
Excuse me while I laugh out loud!
A few users of RadioDJ recently took to the RadioDJ forums to vent their frustrations over his antivirus software claiming there was a Trojan in the program files and that his PC wouldn’t let them download/install it.
We’ve had a similar warning from Windows Defender on Windows 10 about the RadioDJ reports .exe file which we chose to ignore.
However Marius has said this on the forums.
“I never compromised releases with any malware/adware, but many antivirus programs don’t like to see obfuscated code, so from time to time there are false positives, most of the time reported by some less well ranked antivirus solutions. I can’t do much about them, sadly”

We’ve seen a huge rise in the numbers of RadioDJ being downloaded it grows month by month year by year.
There were over 200,000 downloads of RadioDJ v1.8.2 which to my mind makes it The number one Internet radio solution and quite rightly so!

My Code Monkey had a go at rewriting the Radio DJ request script
(Loosely based on a basic concept request script coded by another member of the Radio DJ community)
We’ve added more .css functionality to the website script.
Its a simple but effective way to let listeners request songs which then land in the “Request Plugin” in RadioDJ

Are you a teacher trying to teach your students about radio and how it works?
Internet radio can be a fun thing for your students to learn about who knows it could set them up for a future careers in radio.
You have a few bits of software that could be used to teach your students the workings of radio streaming and automation software.
