There’s A Reason Why I’m So Passionate About RadioDJ

Certain sections of the Internet radio crowd do their best to knock me because I happen to like a piece of free software over paid for solutions such as SAM Broadcaster/RadioBoss etc…

There’s a reason I’m so passionate about RadioDJ free radio automation software.

RadioDJ is the BEST piece of music automation software we’ve ever used (we’ve tested nearly all of them on the market)

After 6 stress free years can you blame me for being so in awe of a piece of software?

The Housemartins – London 0 Hull 4

Christmas 1986 was a very special year for me, my eldest brother bought me The Housemartins – London 0 Hull 4 on cassette for Christmas.

I guess 1986 was my first awakening of popular music. The Housemartins were one of the first bands I was a fan of and this album was just brilliant.

I played the tape to death one my new ghetto blaster even if my tape player kept wanting to chew the tape up. I eventually ended up buying it on Vinyl instead.

The guy spent the last 10 years of his life compiling and posting the entire American Top 40 charts for every week in the rock era from 1955 (and working on 2007 to current).

He has a small group of guys working on these things nearly every day of the week to correct errors and make sure each chart is 100% accurate and complete.

So if you need a reference to all of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s Top 40 charts…

Frustration At Audio Distortion (Sam Broadcaster)

Been watching a topic on the Spacial forums where a long time user of SAM Broadcaster is complaining about really bad distortion on his stream.

I get a distorted & garbled audio stream with SAM Broadcaster.
I searched the forum and couldn’t find any conclusive troubleshooting on the topic.
I don’t have time for yet another rebuild. I’m tired of rebuilding.
I have to think about whether SAM is right for our station any more.

Isn’t Technology Wonderful??!

We’ve been having a few issues with our main Windows 10 PC for the past few days, It’s been crawling and crashing at random intervals.

We gave it a service the other day thinking it was fluff blocking the vents/fans/cpu that was causing the PC to go slow.

Nope even after giving it a bit of TLC it still wasn’t working as it should have done. Windows still kept crawling along…

RadioDJ Crossfade Settings?

With most music software you would expect a smooth crossfade between songs wouldn’t you?

This is another area where RadioDJ seems to excel at automation.

The transition between songs is amazing (even with songs that have sudden endings)
