There Is No Malware In RadioDJ

We recently heard reports of antivirus programs flagging up the RadioDJ program files as suspicious.

Avast, Bitdefender, Norton were all flagging up, deleting and quarantining perfectly safe program files.

It annoys us when AV software flags up a perfectly safe program as being infected when it isn’t.

We had the same sort of issues with the RadioDJ.exe a while back. We sent the RadioDJ.exe file to the antivirus company and they came back with this.

“Sorry, it was a false detection. It will be fixed in the next update. Thank you for your help”

Damn You Antivirus Software!!

Yet again I’ve had a user of RadioDJ tell me that Norton Antivirus keeps flagging up the RadioDJ program files as having malware.

Well that’s bloody annoying now isn’t it? We had the same issue with Avast before we stopped using that a few years ago, We just rely on Windows Defender these days and that keeps us safe.

Sam Broadcaster V4.2.2 Is It A Virus?

Q: “SAM Broadcaster v4.2.2 is it a Virus?”

A: That would depend on where you downloaded the “sambc-up.exe” file from.

“If you’ve downloaded SAM Broadcaster off some dodgy file sharing site or downloaded it as a torrent. There’s a good chance of the crack/patch possibly having been altered to contain viruses or other hidden malware”

Believe us and that’s the last thing you want on your computer as it could be stealing your personal details such as Bank/Paypal passwords etc…
