Seen a few posts from a user recently claiming he’s been hacked while using one of the RadioDJ website scripts.
He goes on to claim there are also “vulnerabilities” in the script.
How to Uninstall/Clean MySQL from Windows completely?
1) Run Command Prompt (Type cmd into the search menu in Windows 8/10) and run it as Administrator and execute the following commands to stop and remove MySQL service.

Question that seems to get asked a lot is how people actually go about running more than 1 copy of RadioDJ on the same PC.
Its NOT as long winded as you might think.
Step1: Download RadioDJ and Install to different folders on the C:\ drive (outside of the programs folder) & give each folder full administrator privileges

This search term appeared on my stats recently…
“Does RadioDJ work with MSSQL?”
I guess by now the person who made that search will realise that RadioDJ only works with MySQL
Unlike SAM Broadcaster which has 4 different database options. The database in RadioDJ has been kept simple.

We came across MariaDB after a user posted on the RadioDJ forums that they were using it with RadioDJ.
I have to admit I was surprised by how easy MariaDB was to install. It’s a lot more straight forward than the normal MySQL installer. Its not as fiddly as setting up MySQL server edition.
If you have previously had MySQL installed you will need to see this article about removing it as a service
1) Download the Maria DB MSI installer for your version of Windows Here
2) Open the file & Install and run when Windows prompts.
3) On the licence agreement screen check the accept box. Click next.
