Just been reading Spacial’s new terms and conditions for SAM Broadcaster Cloud
It seems yet again they want to tell you what “you” the customer can and can’t do with their software and services.
People pay $$$ for Spacial Audio products and then Spacial try to dictate what people can do with their software.
In the event of Spacial’s SAM Broadcaster Cloud servers falling over IF you lose your data they then accept no responsibility for this?
10.1. "You acknowledge and agree that although Spacial will make all best efforts to securely store Your Content as required for use of the Service, all of Your Content is stored by Spacial at your own risk and Spacial assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage, or corruption to Your Content. In addition, Spacial does not backup Your Content, the backup of which is Your sole responsibility"
Even though it’s them that are responsible for SAM Broadcaster Cloud maintenance.
Reading down a bit further it seems to me (again) that Spacial really don’t like giving their customers support.
So your on your own if they don’t reply to your support query in 2 days?
So if you happen to be a bit abrupt or narky with them when putting in a complaint they will simply just cancel your account.
"16.1. Without prejudice to any of Spacial’s other rights, Spacial may suspend or terminate Your account and access to Your Service immediately and without notice if You fail to comply with any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement"
It’s not a software company you’re running there Spacial Audio It’s a “Dictatorship” and a bad one at that.
I don’t know about anyone else but we wouldn’t want to do business with Spacial Audio on the back of these Terms & Conditions.
If you’ve had just about enough of the appalling customer service from Spacial Audio then vote with your wallets and STOP! paying for Software and services from Spacial Audio as it’s becoming more & more obvious they really don’t care about the customer.
