RadioDJ Colour Editor: Because everyone has a favourite colour?!
The new version of RadioDJ v2.0.0 allows you to change the colour scheme of your layout in RadioDJ.
Not a lot to say other than it allows you to choose colours in RadioDJ.
It can take some time to get the layout exactly as you want it, But the work will all be worth it
If you know the HTML HEX Colour you can enter it as the RGB values.
Just make sure as soon as you’ve set the colours how you want them click on Save/Save as.
“Tip: The colour schemes are saved in the “styles” folder once you have your scheme the way you want it backup the RadioDJ styles folder”
Happy Colouring! This is a better feature than skins IMHO

The new version of RadioDJ v2.0 now has a nifty little tool so you can sync your music folders to their correct genres.
You just set which folder you want it to synchronise if you’ve recently added music to that folder and you want it in the category you want it in.
There isn’t a great deal to say about it other than it “Synchronises Folders”
I know I’m going to find it a useful tool because I regularly update my music files.
So RadioDJ v2.0.0 is out… Hurrah!
Its been a long time since v1.8.2 was released and that’s performed like a star ever since
OK so I’ll be honest with you I had a sneak preview of the latest version (Ain’t I a Stinker?) and all I can say my goodness it has some new nifty features.
With this version come features such as User access control, Colour changer, Folder sync tool and a whole plethora of new event features too.
We just hope you enjoy using this new version as much as we’ve enjoyed testing it.
You can download the new version of RadioDJ from the RadioDJ website or by clicking the picture above

I wrote a post a while back about Audio Issues I was having with Windows 10 on Virtualbox.
This morning I woke up, switched the PC on and saw there was an update for Virtualbox so I installed it and BOOM! the audio stuttering issues on Windows 10 seem to have gone away, although there is still the occasional blip in audio which I can live with (but it winds me up)

When I started out as a DJ in 1987 I had a choice of several places in Scunthorpe to buy records from.
Our Price, Woolworths, WH Smith, Boots but my favourite record shop of them all was Record Village a small independent record shop that was just amazing
Record Village opened around 1976 and had 3 shops at one point, the main one 133 High Street, 49 Wrawby Street in Brigg and a small shop at 13 Collum Lane Ashby.
Just seen a post from a long time user of SAM Broadcaster who stated that he restarts his copy of SAM quite regularly.
“I always re-start my SAM Broadcaster at least twice a week”
Excuse me a minute while I laugh… HA! but that’s nothing unusual when it comes to SAM Broadcaster.

I’ve read an article about the SoundExchange Royalties Going Up for Webcasters in 2018…
“For all streaming in 2018, non subscription webcasters will pay a per performance royalty of $.0018 instead of this year’s $.0017. For subscription streams, the rate will increase to $.0023, an increase from $.0022 per performance rate”
