Port 3306 Blocking Stop It!

So a user comes onto the RadioDJ forums saying he is having issues working the WordPress plugin.

Then goes onto to say his web host is HostGator.

That is unfortunately where his problem lies. Most of the big hosting companies won’t allow connections on port 3306 (SQL).

Stop Promising The Earth (Then Failing To Deliver)

Just seen a blog post on the Spacial Audio website about SAM Broadcaster 2014.

There have only been 6 releases of SAM Broadcaster 2013. That works out at $50 a release and most of those releases have been riddled with bugs.

Anti Virus Software & Sam Broadcaster

I occasionally see posts on the Spacial forums telling users not to use Anti Virus Software & SAM Broadcaster together.

Complete bunkum!!

That’s it Spacial Audio leave users without virus protection while they run your software.

How To Get Listed On Icecast And Internetradio

I went for a look on the Icecast forums and found some really useful information on How To Get Listed on Icecast.

Praise Indeed!

We absolutely love the all of the users of the RadioDJ forums, But I love those who have come from using SAM Broadcaster just that bit more…

Especially when they say stuff like this??

“Having come from the world of SAM, I would just like to take a moment to thank the development team and everyone that provides support, The atmosphere is refreshing, The software is great and getting better. Good job guys”

A friendly and helpful forum and people willing to help each other isn’t something that can be said for certain other software forums. We’ve worked hard to make the RadioDJ forum the place it now is.

The advice and help from other users is what makes the RadioDJ forum the best place to ask for help with issues with the software.

It always helps though if you search the forums, Just your issue may have been resolved before.

If you haven’t made the switch from SAM Broadcaster to RadioDJ yet

Download RadioDJ v2

What are you waiting for? You’ll be a lot happier in the long run,

FACT: RadioDJ is a lot more reliable and stable than programs you pay lots of $$$ or €€€ for, even then those pieces of software won’t always come with support.

One user of RadioDJ v1.8.2 had his copy running for 2 years. We’d call that reliable, Wouldn’t you?

Sam Cast Fail

Reading through the Spacial Audio/SAM Broadcaster forums this post caught my attention.

Yet again Spacial Audio seem to be releasing software that isn’t fit for purpose.
