Did I Say Spacial Audio Support Were Clueless?

We knew Spacial Audio support were utterly useless but we didn’t know they were totally CLUELESS as well.

A user having an activation issue with SAM Broadcaster has posted on the SAM Broadcaster forums hoping to get help as support seem to have “gone quiet” in his words.

“I’ve tried tech support but suddenly getting no more replies from them. I changed PC’s a few weeks ago and had to reinstall Sam Broadcaster Pro. After reinstallation, I activated successfully but suddenly started getting the error message: “Product Activation Failed” and “License Warning”.

Spacial support also asked me to uninstall the MySQL server as well as SAM Broadcaster and reinstall them in new directories. I’ve done everything they advised and the problem is still there, very frustrating and stressful, starting to get disillusioned with the program. The worst part is the tech support person just went quiet”

Users shouldn’t be having activation headaches with software especially if they’re about to do a live show on the Internet. God forbid they should actually want to stream a station.

The Experiment Is Going Well? (Sam Broadcaster Cracks)

A while back we started a little experiment and wrote a few blog posts to do with people wanting cracked copies of SAM Broadcaster.

SAM Broadcaster Pro

So far the experiment has only confirmed what we thought anyway.

It seems there are many desperate people out there who want an illegal copy of SAM Broadcaster.

The results on Google Analytics were quite shocking when I started adding numbers up…

Running RadioDJ As “Administrator”?

When it comes to getting the best out of RadioDJ it’s usually recommended you run the program as “Administrator”

Tip: RadioDJ won’t see networked drives on Windows 10 if its running as Administrator you may have to run it without elevated privileges if you want to use network drives

RadioDJ run as administrator

Although some people don’t appear to grasp the fact that it sometimes needs to be ran that way.

“That was a lame post there’s no reason to be telling people to run it as an administrator”

We think you’ll find there’s every need to tell people to run RadioDJ as “Administrator”

You Have A Choice?

When it comes to radio automation software you have a choice…

“Do you pay $$$ for a program or do you download a program for free?”

Personally we’d rather have something for FREE. Leaves us with more money to spend on other stuff.

Nearly everytime we test the paid for automation solutions we come to the conclusion that some of the paid for offerings within the radio automation market just don’t perform that well as RadioDJ.

RadioDJ & Altacast Are Separate Programs

There appears to be some confusion about Altacast encoding software it seems people thought it was connected to RadioDJ.

Nope! Altacast is/was coded by a completely different person who seems to have disappeared off the Internet

Important: Altacast Plugin for RadioDJ will NOT function with RadioDJ v2.0.0 you’ll be stuck on v1.8.2 if you wish to keep using that UNSUPPORTED plugin.

This Program Is Provided “As Is” (RadioDJ)

I feel I need to clarify a few things to those people who keep demanding that I help them with RadioDJ setup issues.

I swear some people expect far too much from a free piece of software… It might help if they read the RadioDJ licence agreement

“This program is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchant-ability and fitness for a particular purpose. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the program is with you”

When something goes wrong with RadioDJ we don’t have to give technical help or advice… We do 99.8% of the time because we care enough about the software.
