Its A False-Positive End Of Story! (RadioDJ)

One user recently took to the RadioDJ forums to vent his frustrations over his antivirus software claiming there was a Trojan in the program files and that his PC wouldn’t let him download/install it.

We’ve had a similar warning from Windows Defender on Windows 10 about the RadioDJ reports .exe file which we chose to ignore.

However Marius has said this on the forums.

“I never compromised releases with any malware/adware, but many antivirus programs don’t like to see obfuscated code, so from time to time there are false positives, most of the time reported by some less well ranked antivirus solutions. I can’t do much about them, sadly”

RadioDJ Track Rotations (AutoDJ Selector) v2.0.0.0

So you’ve installed RadioDJ and imported your music and you’re stuck as to what track rotations are let me try and explain a little.

Track Rotations in RadioDJ selects the music only from the categories you tell it to choose from, You can have multiple rotations for different moods, just don’t forget to save the rotation once you’ve created it.

Also make sure when creating a rotation item that the repeat rules boxes are checked so you don’t have any repetition in songs.

Important: Try not to apply repeat rules to Jingles or Station ID’s you need them to be available to the rotation, I always loaded my jingles by “Least recently played” and sometimes “Random” when I ran a station backup stream for someone.

RadioDJ Colour Editor (v2.0.0)

RadioDJ Colour Editor: Because everyone has a favourite colour?!

The new version of RadioDJ v2.0.0 allows you to change the colour scheme of your layout in RadioDJ.

Not a lot to say other than it allows you to choose colours in RadioDJ.

It can take some time to get the layout exactly as you want it, But the work will all be worth it

If you know the HTML HEX Colour you can enter it as the RGB values.

Just make sure as soon as you’ve set the colours how you want them click on Save/Save as.

Tip: The colour schemes are saved in the “styles” folder once you have your scheme the way you want it backup the RadioDJ styles folder

Happy Colouring! This is a better feature than skins IMHO

RadioDJ Folder Sync Tool (v2.0.0)

The new version of RadioDJ v2.0 now has a nifty little tool so you can sync your music folders to their correct genres.

You just set which folder you want it to synchronise if you’ve recently added music to that folder and you want it in the category you want it in.

There isn’t a great deal to say about it other than it “Synchronises Folders”

I know I’m going to find it a useful tool because I regularly update my music files.
