Just seen a post on the Spacial Audio/SAM Broadcaster forums where a user wants to set his request function up. The user states their website is hosted by GoDaddy.
That’s where the problem lies he will never get SAM Broadcaster requests working as Godaddy don’t have the SQL port 3306 or the other port 1221 open.
I’m sure someone will point this out to him eventually.

So that’s it then XP is no longer being supported by Microsoft! Time to get that wallet out and upgrade your OS!
I cannot guarantee I’m likely to be able to help with problems on XP from now on either!
First question: Are you still using Windows XP as your computers operating system?
If you answer Yes to that question then I guess there’s no hope for you.

We’ve recently noticed companies like Spacial Audio, RadioJar, Radio.co, DJSoft (Radioboss) offering packages that enable you to run a radio station in the cloud.
The question is are they are actually worth paying out for?

Recently I’ve seen a rise in links with people offering shoutcast/icecast servers and even links to software all using a .tk web address.
According to Stop forum spam .tk is a well known spammers way of doing things.

I occasionally see posts on the Spacial forums telling users not to use Anti Virus Software & SAM Broadcaster together.
That’s it Spacial Audio leave users without virus protection while they run your software.

I went for a look on the Icecast forums and found some really useful information on How To Get Listed on Icecast.
I had my stream up and running but it wasn’t listing us on the Icecast directory.
I’ve written a short guide to how you get listed on Icecast and InternetRadio.
