Got an email from Spacial Audio about their new promo “Spacial Swag” T-shirts and Travel Mugs.
Then I couldn’t help but notice yet again Spacial Audio have got their maths badly WRONG!
Seen a post from a user of SAM Broadcaster who wants to move his current SAMDB MySQL database over to a new machine and appears to be having trouble doing so.
That’s the problem with SAM Broadcaster while there is a backup feature in the software AFAIK it only backs up program files/settings and NOT the database, You have to use external software or batch files if you want to even attempt to try and backup your MySQL database in SAM.
Been watching a few forums where the same user has posted asking for help with various stuff to do with the request system in SAM Broadcaster as well as RadioDJ.
She then lets slip that’s she is using a really old copy of SAM Broadcaster 4.x.x and wants someone to supply her with SAM 3.x.x (Ye Gods!)

Anyone who has ever used SAM Broadcaster can attest to how awful the built in Voice FX feature can be when it doesn’t work as advertised.
I tried and failed on several occasions to get the Voice FX button to work in SAM when I first started using the software way back on v2.7.9
Recently I was made aware of a company on Social Media offering Shoutcast packages.
So I went and had a look at the website.
While I was greeted with a very smart looking website when I actually got to the price plans I saw their services came with “unlimited” listener slots
