Why So Unfriendly?

Why are other DJ’s so Unfriendly at times? That is the question I am asking myself right now.

I’ve been a DJ for over 30 years now I’ve never had an ego just a passion for the music I was playing

I’ve always just been ME and got on with the job in hand! whether that was a Wedding, Birthday or even a Funeral. Yes I got asked to play the music at someone’s wake once.

I’ve had issues in the past with other DJ’s bullying me & they thought they were better than me which really got on my nerves.

Yes Jamie Wilson & Matt Stephenson from Scunthorpe I mean you two! Coming round my house in the pretence they wanted to swap records when all they did was pick on me and do some really nasty things.

Sam Broadcaster Crossfade Problems

As hard as I tried over the years I could never get SAM Broadcaster to transition smoothly between songs.

Even the default settings would cut the end of songs off as for jingles and station ID’s it would sometimes skip past them if they were shorter than 10 seconds.

Homophobia In Music?

Homophobia in Music?

It seems recently there has been a lot in the news about pop stars singing homophobic lyrics in songs.

Apparently it’s rife within the rap music scene where it’s tolerated (sic) as part of a rap battle.

Is it right that there’s a perceived culture of Homophobia within certain sections of the music industry?
