Why So Unfriendly?

Why So Unfriendly? That is the current question I am asking myself.

“I’ve been a DJ for over 30 years now I’ve never had an ego just a passion for the music I was playing

I’ve always just been ME and got on with the job in hand! whether that was a Wedding, Birthday or even a Funeral (Yes I once got asked to play the music at someone’s wake)

I had issues with other DJ’s bullying me when I was younger & they thought they were better than me which really got on my nerves.

Sam Broadcaster Crossfade Problems

As hard as I tried over the years I could never get SAM Broadcaster to transition smoothly between songs. I’d either end up with dear air or a complete car crash of a crossfade.

Even the default settings would cut the end of a song off. All my files were ripped properly and volume levelled so that wasn’t the issue.

Homophobia In Music?

Homophobia in Music?

It seems recently there has been a lot in the news about pop stars singing homophobic lyrics in songs.

Apparently it’s rife within the rap music scene where it’s tolerated (sic) as part of a rap battle.

Is it right that there’s a perceived culture of Homophobia within certain sections of the music industry?
