Sam Broadcaster Unacceptable Activation Error

Did one of my regular visits to the Spacial Audio forums just to see what the latest posts/gripes from customers were.

“I find these activation errors with this software absolutely ridiculous”

A long time advocate of SAM Broadcaster seems to be getting rather annoyed with the way the program activation server says they have already exceeded their activation limit.

Spacial Discontinue Sam Broadcaster Mac

So I’m doing my usual bits and pieces on the Internet this morning and I see this tweet.

SAM Broadcaster Mac Discontinued

It’s been less than 12 months since they released the “Crossover” version of SAM Broadcaster for Mac.

I predicted it was going to be an unmitigated disaster when I heard they’d ported over SAM Broadcaster (Windows) to the Mac using Crossover.

It would appear I was right again.

Your Sam Broadcaster Subscription Has Expired?

Over the last couple of years now Spacial audio have gone with a subscription based model for the newer versions of SAM Broadcaster. Nothing wrong with that I hear you say…

“However should your subscription run out part way through the year, You are left stuck with the last version of SAM Broadcaster your subscription was eligible for & you would need to pay out $$$ all over again to upgrade to the latest version”

Now You Really Are Taking The Piss Spacial Audio

I saw SAM Broadcaster v2015.5 was available for download this morning.

So I downloaded it from my usual source. Haven’t had chance to test it properly yet but I’d imagine it’s just as unstable as v2015.4 was.

SAM Broadcaster 2015.5

I can’t help but notice that the “read me” changelog only lists one change (again)

Stop Trolling Me!

Just a friendly reminder: If you’re going to attempt to troll me on social media or the internet get “your” facts straight first!

Troll Mad

I’m getting a little bit fed up with people having a go at me because of my views & experiences with a certain piece of software.

Just because SAM Broadcaster hasn’t caused you any problems, it doesn’t mean other people had the same smooth experience.

Sam Broadcaster Won’t Open After Reboot

Saw a post on the Spacial Audio forums.

“Help SAM Broadcaster won’t open after reboot”

SAM Broadcaster stopped working

SAM Broadcaster going wrong is nothing new. In the past we’ve had to uninstall and reinstall SAM Broadcaster after the program went wrong and wouldn’t start up after a reboot of the computer.

This has happened to us on many occasions on different operating systems from Windows XP to Windows 7.

Sorry I Can’t Do My Show Sam Broadcaster Crashed

While doing my usual bits n pieces recently on Twitter, I came across tweets from a couple of SAM Broadcaster users who had to cancel their live shows because SAM Broadcaster wasn’t working.

“Sorry but I cant run my show today because my SAM Broadcaster is not working I have to get it fixed”

Then there’s this

“Sorry I can’t do my show SAM Broadcaster crashed, there’s no way I’ll get this fixed in time, SAM just won’t cooperate”

And this…

“We’ve had a problem with our SAM Broadcaster for over a week now. It’s still not resolved. We’ve missed several shows now”

“No one should ever miss doing a radio show!”

You’re Cracking Us Up!!

I’ve written a few posts on this blog pertaining to people looking for SAM Broadcaster keys/cracks/keygens etc…

When I wrote them I had no idea that those posts would take on a life of their own.

SAM Broadcaster cracks searches

As far as I’m aware Spacial Audio don’t seem to think there’s a problem with people wanting pirated versions of their badly written software. Although they do put in several DMCA requests to Google every year.
