Have You Made The Switch Yet?

It’s always nice seeing other people switching from SAM Broadcaster to RadioDJ free radio automation software.

“I switched from SAM Broadcaster and have not looked back. I was hesitant at first but RadioDJ has made my life and station so much better/streamlined. Thanks again!”

If you haven’t discovered RadioDJ yet what are you waiting for?

RadioDJ free radio automation software

RadioDJ works much better than SAM Broadcaster and doesn’t seem to crash or go wrong that often.

We know of several users of RadioDJ who haven’t had to restart their computer or laptop for around 7 months, It’s an extremely stable & reliable automation program.

The best bit about RadioDJ is the fact it’s 100% FREE (No catches, No hidden costs, No messy reg keys)

Other users have had this to say about the software about the software.

“We recently made the switch from SAM Broadcaster to RadioDJ with no regrets at all, we’ve had no downtime or crashes since we switched”

“My RadioDJ system is sounding so good! What a fantastic piece of software and community support. Thanks everyone”

“Things I like about RadioDJ are stability, flexibility, community and NO BUFFERING! Listening trend is up 71% since migrating to RadioDJ! Stability breeds consistency”

“RadioDJ has got to be the best playout system I have found online, quite simply – IT WORKS! It sounds extremely professional once you set it up and get your music added”

“I love the way the program is laid out and how professional it looks. It took some time to install and get used to but that’s where the Community forums come to your rescue if you get stuck with Installing and using the program”

Sam Broadcaster 2015.1 (Disappointment?)

Got my hands on a copy of SAM Broadcaster 2015.1 this morning despite Spacial trying to obfuscate the download links.

The changes list reads like this:

v2015.1 (1 June 2015)
* M4A support added.
* Check SAM Broadcaster edition and warn if overwriting a different edition
* Warn/disable when there is no support for WMA

They’ve had well over 6 months to improve and upgrade SAM Broadcaster and the best they can do is just add .m4a support!

(Yes we know they have released a MAC crossover version but we have no way of testing that at present)

The fact they’ve only added 1 new feature isn’t going to down well with customers who have paid $$$ for SAM Broadcaster 2015.

1 user has already taken to the Spacial forums to express his disappointment.

You’d have thought they would have at least fixed some bugs but alas not!

It’s yet again the same old story with Spacial they don’t care about their user base or the program they are trying to sell.

In the time it’s taken SAM Broadcaster 2015 to come out there have been 6 releases of RadioDJ which has more new features added everytime a release comes out and that’s FREE.

Stop paying Spacial Audio for SAM Broadcaster you are only paying their development team to be lazy and do NOTHING!

Don’t Be A Turd!!!

I look at the SAM Broadcaster feed on Twitter most days to try and see if anyone is still offering illegal cracked copies of the software.

This morning someone shared a link to a video on Youtube with a link to a cracked copy of SAM 4.2.2

“What got my back up was when I pulled the person up about the fact they were hawking cracked copies of SAM Broadcaster. They seemed to think what they were doing was legitimate and above board”

Erm NO you complete and utter TURD! Hawking illegal copies of paid for software such as SAM Broadcaster isn’t cool or right.

It’s merely still a drop in the ocean though.

“In the last 90 days 4,576 visitors to my blog have actively been looking at the posts to do with SAM Broadcaster keys/cracks.

Spacial Audio we think you might have a slight problem with people pirating your software!

If you think it’s cool to offer or supply downloads of a SAM Broadcaster Crack then you really are an Amateur and shouldn’t be doing Internet radio.

STOP Don’t Be a TURD!!! Just download RadioDJ instead.

RadioDJ is a FREE radio automation program that doesn’t require any keys/patches/cracks in order to work the program.

It will work far better than any pirated copy of SAM Broadcaster you found just lying around on the Internet!

It’s Just Laziness

When you pay a subscription for a piece of software you would at least expect an update once a month or so.

Sadly this is not the case with Spacial Audio.

I know they are taking peoples money for 2015 subscriptions but they have yet to deliver a version of SAM Broadcaster in 2015.

I’m also acutely aware that Spacial have started beta testing a Mac version of SAM Broadcaster.

But so far in 2015 they appear to all intents and purpose appear to be ignoring their windows users.

It’s just laziness on the part of the developers of the software.

Stop paying for a yearly subscription for SAM Broadcaster & start using RadioDJ free radio automation software.

At least RadioDJ is developed by someone who gives a damn about the software and it’s users. There are regular updates for RadioDJ

Spacial Audio really need to drop the lazy attitude and start giving customers what they want.

BUT WE WON’T HOLD OUR BREATH ON THAT ONE!

Using Winamp To Dj With?

Using Winamp To DJ With?

Just seen a topic pop up on the Winamp forums where someone said they were using Winamp to DJ.

Another user replied with:

“Real DJs don’t use Winamp to DJ it doesn’t crossfade properly”

Indeed DJ’s don’t use Winamp to produce mixes or radio shows. We use other software that is built for the job.

I haven’t used Winamp to stream a radio station with in over 10 years. Winamp is a media player for listening to a shoutcast stream.

While Winamp may have been a starting point for anyone who wanted to DJ years ago, There is far better software than Winamp to DJ with.

1) Mixxx

Mixxx

2) Virtual DJ

virtual-dj-pro

3) RadioDJ

RadioDJ free radio automation software

4) Traktor

traktor-dj-studio_5

Those are just a few of the programs available to DJ with. You can find others by searching Google.

“Anyone who is serious about DJ work these days wouldn’t even touch Winamp”

If you use Winamp to DJ with then you’ll end up sounding like an amateur who doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Standalone Vs Built In Encoders

Standalone vs Built In Encoders?

When it comes to automation software do you pay $$$ for a program that has encoders built in or do you use a standalone encoding program?

Simply Wonderful

I probably don’t praise the developer of RadioDJ enough.

The software has come on leaps and bounds this past year of two. It’s just simply wonderful to have a piece of software that does what it’s supposed to.

Even when i had a small problem with one of the RC releases Marius came to my aid and did a remote support session.

How many software developers do you know that would do that. Without charging you for the pleasure?

I know for a fact that Spacial audio would charge you through the nose for a remote support session with SAM Broadcaster.

I think it’s something like $30 an hour.

Just to be able to have a stress free experience with a piece of software is bliss!

I lost count how many times I swore at SAM broadcaster over the years because it wouldn’t work properly.

If RadioDJ had been around 10 years ago I’d probably would have had a successful radio station by now.

Instead I spent just shy of 8 years getting frustrated with software.

Marius you rock!! Thanks for such brilliant software!
