When we see someone post on the Spacial Audio forums about a problem they’re having with SAM Broadcaster, You can guarantee that the problem has been posted about before.
The list of problems & bugs that exist within SAM Broadcaster is endless.
Spacial Audio have had something of a monopoly when it comes to Internet radio software.
Over the last 17 years or so people wanting to run an Internet radio station have generally only had 1 option and that was to pay $$$ for radio automation software.
SAM Broadcaster may well have been the No1 selling radio automation program.
A user has posted on the feature request section of the Winamp forums asking the developers to include “Smart crossfading” in the next version.
“Smart crossfade analyses the playlist and determines if the songs are in increasing sequential track order from the same album. If they aren’t (like in most random mixes) user defined crossfading is used”
Do you run a community radio station online without looking to make money from it? Are you a not for profit or community led Internet radio station?
Are you one of those people on the internet looking for a SAM Broadcaster Product Activation Key?
We find it truly staggering just how many people look for cracked copies of SAM Broadcaster
Not a day goes by without us seeing someone somewhere searching on Google Analytics for pirated/cracked versions of Spacial Audio software.
Q: Why do I dislike SAM Broadcaster?
It got tedious having to constantly reinstall/reconfigure the program. I thought at first it was a problem confined to my computer, How wrong I was!
Did one of my regular visits to the Spacial Audio forums just to see what the latest posts/gripes from customers were.
A long time advocate of SAM Broadcaster seems to be getting rather annoyed with the way the program activation server says they have already exceeded their activation limit.
This search term appeared on my stats over the past few days.
“radiodj & mssql”
I guess by now the person who made that search will realise that RadioDJ only works with MySQL
Unlike SAM Broadcaster which has 4 different database options. The database in RadioDJ has been kept simple.
