Yet again I’ve had a user of RadioDJ tell me that Norton Antivirus keeps flagging up the RadioDJ website as having malware.
Well that’s no good is it?
I’ve emailed Marius who owns the website to let him know about the issue and he’s told me that the offending file isn’t on the server anymore.
“So where is Norton getting the idea from that the RadioDJ website is dangerous from?
I’ve blogged before about Antivirus software having issues with RadioDJ.exe
It’s rare I hear of someone not being able to access the main RadioDJ website because their AV software flags it up as suspicious.
“Hey Norton, Avast, AVG, Panda, McAfee, Kaspersky, Clam AV and other antivirus software developers can you do every RadioDJ user in the world a favour? Add http://radiodj.ro and the RadioDJ program folder files to your list of allowed websites/software.
Yet again I find myself having to say.
Not in the program folders, the plugins or the website. It’s getting annoying now!
“People could be missing out on great free radio software because an antivirus database thinks a website/program is infected when it’s clearly NOT”
We wouldn’t have used it for over 5 years if it had any form of Malware/Spyware built into the program. Believe us It’s SAFE!
A while back I wrote an article about the amount of tweets on Twitter there were with people offering cracked versions of SAM Broadcaster.
Since I wrote the original article it’s been viewed over 8,174 times and It seems nothing has changed.
There are still idiots out there desperate for an illegal copy of SAM Broadcaster.
You don’t need a SAM Broadcaster Crack!
When you have totally FREE software that doesn’t require keys or patches and that is RadioDJ free radio automation software.
If you have downloaded and installed a cracked/pirated copy of SAM Broadcaster STOP right there! It could be riddled with Trojans and other nasty malware. That’s the last thing you want on your computer! Trojans and viruses could be used to steal your personal information such as Bank details/Website passwords etc.
SAM Broadcaster is dodgy enough without adding a virus laden copy into the mix. Plus the cracked version will never work properly.
What we suggest you do is uninstall the cracked/patched copy of SAM Broadcaster from your computer making sure you delete the program folder as well.
Then you need to run a virus scan with a decent antivirus software such as Norton/Kaspersky/Bitdefender/Avast/AVG etc…
Also give your registry a repair with CCleaner which is another free program.
After you have done a virus and malware scan.
Download the latest version of RadioDJ by clicking on the picture below.
RadioDJ is a free studio automation package that works far better than a dodgy cracked copy of SAM Broadcaster ever will.
With various plugins for stuff like requests and streaming to shoutcast/icecast available for the program.
RadioDJ does everything SAM Broadcaster can but 100 times better.
You’ll be thankful in the end when your computer isn’t crashing all the time because you have a SAM Broadcaster crack installed.
If you have any issues installing and running RadioDJ support can be found on the Community Forums
This search term appeared on my WordPress dashboard recently.
“Where can I download SAM Broadcaster for free? Without getting a virus?”
For starters there’s NO such thing as a FREE copy of SAM Broadcaster.
There never has been a free copy of SAM Broadcaster the program has always cost $299 upwards to lease, Even when you’ve bought SAM Broadcaster from Spacial Audio you still don’t own the program they do!
If you’ve downloaded a SAM Broadcaster crack/patch off a torrent/pirate site then you can almost guarantee it’s going to have been modified in some way and it will almost certainly contain malware/viruses in the patch/crack.
People DON’T need a warez/pirated/cracked version of SAM Broadcaster. They just need to download RadioDJ free radio automation software.
RadioDJ doesn’t require patches/cracks/keys etc in order to work the full program.
“You’ll be thankful in the long run when your computer isn’t crashing because you’ve put a malware or virus laden infested piece of shit on your PC.
