Reasons why you should use RadioDJ free radio automation software:

RadioDJ free radio automation software

1) It’s FREE for use by anyone with NO restrictions.
2) Its a really stable program and works for weeks/months without a restart
3) Perfect sound quality with the built in sound processing your stream will sound great.
4) Easy to manage Rotations & Events for all your automation needs.
5) Amazing crossfading songs will mix perfectly together.
6) Great Music library support. You add and create categories as needed.
7) No keys required! RadioDJ doesn’t require a key code to unlock the full benefits of the program.
8) Great support if should something go wrong on the RadioDJ Community Forums

We could go on and give you more reasons like the request system or the plugins for streaming to Shoutcast/Icecast.

But the best reason to use RadioDJ is also the the first point I made.

“The program is 100% FREE for use by any DJ or any radio station. You can run multiple radio streams if you so desire. Or if you’re not a DJ It can still be used as a home music automation system”

(Not misleading!)

We know of a RadioDJ user who runs 4 streams using the software.

You CANNOT do that with other radio automation programs such as SAM Broadcaster, Without it costing you hundreds of $$$ (4 × $299 = $1196) as they require you to have as separate licence per station.

Make the switch to RadioDJ free radio automation software today you won’t regret it!

There are NO hidden fees/catches with RadioDJ just 100% FREE radio automation software that works.

He can’t have searched the Internet or Google that hard… Otherwise he would have known that there is a 100% FREE alternative that works better than SAM Broadcaster.

Your SAM Broadcaster Subscription Has Expired?

Over the last couple of years now Spacial audio have gone with a subscription based model for the newer versions of SAM Broadcaster. Nothing wrong with that I hear you say…

“However should your subscription run out part way through the year, You are left stuck with the last version of SAM Broadcaster your subscription was eligible for & you would need to pay out $$$ all over again to upgrade to the latest version”

The future of streaming: Only for the rich?

I’ve been reading a few articles this past few weeks to do with Internet radio royalty fees going up for stations on the Internet.

>> This being one of them < <

Some station owners are paying as little as $23.50 a month to licence their streams at the moment and it’s those broadcasters who are going to be affected by any rise in royalty payments.

Under the WSA which expires this year the SoundExchange portion of royalties would be around $60-$90 a month.

Winamp and Shoutcast Now Owned by Vivendi

I saw a post on the Winamp/Shoutcast forums this morning. It would appear Winamp and Shoutcast are now partly owned by a company called Vivendi.

“Winamp is back… in the hands of a major corporation: Vivendi has acquired a 64.4 percent stake in Radionomy, the European online radio services company that owns Winamp and Shoutcast as well as the online radio ad marketplace Targetspot.

Vivendi owns the likes of Universal Music Group, Canal+ and Dailymotion.

Now You Really Are Taking The Piss Spacial Audio

I saw SAM Broadcaster v2015.5 was available for download this morning.

So I downloaded it from my usual source. Haven’t had chance to test it properly yet but I’d imagine it’s just as unstable as v2015.4 was.

SAM Broadcaster 2015.5

I can’t help but notice that the “read me” changelog only lists one change (again)

Ideas for Cheap Microphones?

This is a question somebody asked on the RadioDJ forums earlier today.

“Please could all of you give me some good ideas on cheap microphones I can use with radio DJ that will link into the soundcard of my tower”

We’re guessing this guy wants to just be able to plug a cheap microphone straight into his computer and have the audio from that go through RadioDJ

I posted awhile back about people wanting a Microphone input in RadioDJ to bypass the need for a mixer.

Some people seem to think the Input button in RadioDJ is for a microphone. That’s not what the input button in RadioDJ is for…

Whose Blog Is It Anyway?

OK People of the world of Internet radio can you all do me a huge favour?

Stop telling me what to think/post/write on this website and even social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook.

I’m getting royally fed up of people having a go at me because of my dislike for a certain piece of software.

It’s all getting a bit boring when trolls start hiding behind their keyboards to dish out abuse and vitriol.
