Have you ever read through the EULA (End user licence agreement) when it comes to SAM Broadcaster?
(Most people haven’t)
We can’t help but notice how Spacial make it difficult to use their software. You’d be pretty amazed at the restrictions Spacial Audio do actually place on the their software.
Especially with a normal copy of SAM Broadcaster Pro ($299).
Q: If SAM Broadcaster Pro cannot be used for terrestrial purposes… Why does it have built in FM broadcasting capabilities via a PCI card?
If you want to use SAM Broadcaster to broadcast over terrestrial AM/FM signals.
Spacial Audio will ask you to hand over $699 for the Studio edition of the program.
That is a lot of money for a radio station owner to part with & there is no way on earth that SAM Broadcaster is worth that much money.
Mind terrestrial stations tend to use software that costs thousands not some overpriced hobby software.
Even as a normal user It would appear you can’t do much with a copy SAM Broadcaster Pro.
God forbid you should want to run more than 2 online stations at a time. Spacial Audio don’t like you doing that either!
There is a simple FREE solution to this. Use RadioDJ radio automation software instead.
RadioDJ has fewer restrictions and is FREE for use by any radio station or DJ anywhere in the world.
Think about it!
Why bother shelling out $$$ for software that isn’t always guaranteed to work and could cause you all sorts of legal nightmares if you use it for something other than what it states in the EULA (End User Licence agreement)?
Just more reasons why Spacial Audio software sucks IMHO!
