We bought ourselves a Google Chromecast recently. (At first I was sceptical as to whether we needed one)
Its only been just over a week since we started using it and my goodness its amazing!
A while back we started a little experiment and wrote a few blog posts to do with people wanting cracked copies of SAM Broadcaster.
So far the experiment has only confirmed what we thought anyway.
It seems there are many desperate people out there who want an illegal copy of SAM Broadcaster.
The results on Google analytics are quite shocking when you start adding numbers up.
When it comes to getting the best out of RadioDJ it’s recommended you run the program as “Administrator”
Although some people don’t appear to grasp the fact that it needs running that way.
We think you’ll find there’s every need to tell people to run RadioDJ as “Administrator”
When it comes to radio automation software you have a choice…
Personally we’d rather have something for FREE. Leaves us with more money to spend on other stuff.
Nearly everytime we test the paid for automation solutions we come to the conclusion that the paid for offerings within the radio automation market just don’t perform that well.
Seen a few posts from people who are struggling to get RadioDJ to generate the NowPlaying.txt files.
To get RadioDJ to generate the text file you need to be running RadioDJ as “Administrator”
Don’t forget to set the location of where you want the program to generate the text file to. e.g C:\NowPlaying.txt
If it’s still not working try lowering your UAC (User Account Control) settings to the lowest setting. As has been said its usually a Windows security problem that stops it from writing the file to the location.
That is all there is to getting a now playing output which can be read by most of the Standalone encoding solutions out there.
Should you still have issues then try the RadioDJ community forums and explain your issue clearly and calmly.
