Woken up the news that Shoutcast/Radionomy were injecting pre roll adverts into peoples streams.

A while back I wrote an article about the amount of tweets on Twitter there were with people offering cracked versions of SAM Broadcaster.
Over the past couple of years over 103,213 people have actively looked for a SAM Broadcaster patch/key/crack on this website according to Google analytics!
(We know all your dirty little secrets!)
If all those hits had been potential customers of Spacial Audio that would mean $30,860,687 in lost sales!
Nothing ever changes I see searches on a daily basis from people trying to get their hands on a cracked copy of SAM Broadcaster.

If you own a copy of SAM Broadcaster 2013 to 2016 you might have noticed that Amazon artwork for songs has stopped working.
(It will also apply to some of the older 4.x.x versions of SAM Broadcaster)
This is because Amazon changed the way they allow a piece of software to look up album art, Basically they changed it from http:// to https://

Saw a post on the Spacial Audio forum this morning stating that SAM Broadcaster 2017 had been released.
They’ve not even added any new features its just fixes for things that should have been fixed in the 2016 versions.

Certain sections of the Internet radio crowd do their best to knock me because I happen to promote free software over paid for solutions such as SAM Broadcaster/RadioBoss
There’s a reason I’m so passionate about RadioDJ free radio automation software.
RadioDJ is the BEST piece of music automation software we’ve ever used (we’ve tested nearly all of them on the market)
We’ve used it since January 2011 now and don’t really have any issues with the software.
If there is an issue its usually computer hardware playing up (Hard drives are usually the main culprits)

I just couldn’t pass this one up…
Last year I reported that a user of RadioDJ had had his copy of the software running for 234 days without a restart.
Well that has just been eclipsed by another user who took time out to post on my Facebook page.
365 days continuous non-stop without spluttering or crashing… WOW just WOW!
